There isn't much I can say about Neutral Milk Hotel's fabulous In the Aeroplane Over the Sea that hasn't been said throughout bazillions of mp3 blogs across the web. However, I may be the only guy to have put an instrumental cover version of "The King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1" as the lead track on his debut CD. Read a nice tribute to the classic record here ...
